Life is...

Busy.

I have neglected to write or post in months (I would say a number but I am reluctant to check exactly how long ha ha...). These past few months have been full of change. So much change that you might not recognize me from before...

Just kidding, my life has not changed that drastically! Now that I have a month (A WHOLE MONTH!!!!!) home from school, I figure it's time to get back on my high horse and continue one of the things that makes me happiest.. blogging. So to begin, I think I'll list some of the most memorable, drastic, life changing, and rewarding things that have happened since I last posted.

Let's begin:
1. I cut 11 inches of my hair off!!!
2. I changed my major
3. I got a job at the most wonderful boutique!
4. My high school won it's first ever state championship in football
5. Mississippi State has a 10-2 record so far!
6. I no longer have wisdom teeth :-)

Back in October, when I came home for fall break, on a whim (and some inspo from my bff Pinterest), I decided to cut my hair shorter than it has ever been. I now am the proud owner of a long bob and I am completely obsessed! If you follow my Instagram, you have probably seen pictures. Before I cut it, my hair was the longest it has been since it was past my butt in kindergarten. Although I do miss the fun hair styles and lack of styling my long hair required, I am loving the sophisticated look my short hair gives!! I highly recommend changing up your hair length/ style, especially if you do not want to color your hair like me!
RIP to my long hair... but I donated it to a beautiful woman with cancer who deserved it far more than I did! Thank you Pantene Beautiful Lengths!!
I am now pursuing a degree in Sports Studies with an emphasis in communications! With a nice 19 years of being nurtured by ESPN 24/7 because I was forbidden to change the channel (after all, I was highly outnumbered a good 4/1), I fell in love with sports early on. Mississippi State offers this Kinesiology department degree that also incorporates communication, which is where sports meets my love for PR! I am so very excited to begin this journey and cannot wait to see what the future holds!

When I returned form fall break (fresh do-n-all), I interviewed for a job at a local boutique in Starkville called Deep South Pout... and I was hired on the spot! I have now been working there for almost two months and LOVE IT! My bosses are so helpful and truly care about their employees, not to mention I have created a whole new family with my wonderful coworkers! I love going to work everyday and getting to play dress up in my own closet to show case my style! We recently had our company Christmas party, and it was so much fun, not to mention the food was out-of-this-world amazing!! If you get the chance to check out their website, you will not be disappointed, and they even have what's called social shop, which means you can shop right from their Instagram!!
My co-worker/ friend Leah and I!
Last Friday, December fifth, my high school played our life long rival in Davis Wade Stadium (Mississippi State's football stadium!!) for the state championship and won!!! Not only was it incredible that I only had to walk 200 yards to see my high school, but that fact that we were playing our arch rivals, a team that my family and I (specifically my brother and I) have a very long relationship (both good and bad) with! Although I did not have a sibling playing, this game meant a lot to me. Being a student trainer for the team in high school and seeing every day how hard the team, coaches, and faculty worked to get to state gave me such a great, invigorating feeling!
ROLL WAVE!!
One of my best friends from high school, Erin, and I at the game!
My bulldogs are 10 and 2!!! If at the beginning of this season, my first season as a Bully's Belle (student football recruiter), you told me Mississippi State would end the regular season with ten wins, I would have laughed in your face and told you would be sadly mistaken. HA! Jokes on me! The best season in school history, and I'm proud to say I was part of it!
HAILSTATE!
Two of my best friends, Jessica (aka Frasse) and Nadia (aka Nadz), at our last home football game this year! So proud of our boys!! GO DAWGS
Yesterday I got my wisdom teeth out. Feeling a little loopy currently, I'm fighting the urge to sleep my days away. Thankfully, I only had my two uppers. The last thing I remember from surgery was asking the anesthesiologist if I could close my eyes after he put the medicine in my I.V. I woke up on the card ride home with no recollection of the past events. It's painful to open my mouth, but I have been virtually pain free. My brother Thomas also got his removed with me, but he had all four of his. He has a VERY high pain tolerance resulting from many years of playing sports and simply being of a rougher gender. We are both very blessed to be recovering so well, and I appreciate any prayers sent our way!

Here are a few other happenings caught on my iPhone! Enjoy!

A day of enoing with my Maroon VIP selection committee buds!
Taking over Molly's (on the left) position as Panhellenic Delegate!!
My little, Madison, and I at formal!
My whole family came to the Vandy game!!
My cousin Shaun and my brother Thomas at Thanksgiving. Two of my very best friends since day one!
My friend Adalyn and I at the lighting of the Christmas tree in downtown Natchez!
My friend Dakota and I dressed as Rachel and Monica for Halloween!!

Life is busy, but it sure is beautiful!
